IT Anthems: GIBO Groep

This song celebrates the 75th anniversary of Dutch accountants, GIBO Groep in 2002, and was performed, and given on CD, to the 1400 staff at a party in Amsterdam. The lyrics are by GIBO employee Mrs Marjan Crum, who won a writers' contest among staff. They are sung to a tune, "15 miljoen mensen", by famous writers Fluitsma and Van Thijn, which was previously a number one hit in Holland.

Even with no knowledge of Dutch, or accountancy, we think the passion, commitment, and excitement of the company comes across very well. Our friend at GIBO also provided an English translation to fully appreciate the song -- scroll down for both versions!

GIBO includes management consultants as well as accountants; its customers are 8,000 farmers and 8,000 small and medium-sized companies enterprises).
